Well, I’m not going to bore you with a bunch of techno-babble. 20 years of expert, hands-on Carpet Stretching & Re-Installation experience has taught me this:

in close to 100% of the cases, carpets buckle or ripple as a result of improper installation by poorly compensated, untrained carpet installers using the wrong tools.

The #1 culprit? A carpet installer who uses a knee kicker (meant to be a finishing tool, not an installation tool) instead of the recommended power stretcher.
