Carpet - Before Filtration Soil Removal
A few weeks ago I received a call from Atlanta Professional Home Stager Michelle Yackel asking me to have a look at one of her projects that was in need of carpet cleaning services. She was specifically interested in Filtration Soil Removal (those ugly black lines along the edges and baseboards).
The homeowner had since moved to Florida, and with the home being unoccupied for some time. This unoccupied home created the perfect conditions for the accumulation of these filtration soil lines that are notorious in the industry for the difficulty of removal.
Moving on…so I did a walk thru and couldn’t help but notice, that although fully furnished, the home just had a “feel” that was, hmmm lets just say “uninspired.” Nevertheless, I provided Michelle with quote for her client and waited to hear back from them.
What a Difference a Staging Makes!
A few weeks later I got a call with the approval to schedule their Carpet Cleaning Service. When I walked into the home, it was a total 180% turn – not just from the perspective of cleanliness, but from just the “feel” of the environment.

The home took on a totally different personality. Not only had it been depersonalized, but it just felt more comfortable. Because of this, I’ve grown to appreciate the science of professional home staging and its benefits in making a home easier to sell.
Oh, almost forgot about the carpet cleaning!. As you can see from the pictures, my crew and I were successful in the removal of the filtration soil.
