In regards to porous (linens, fabrics, textiles..etc) and non-porus surfaces, the CDC has released the following guidelines for both porous and non-porous surfaces – “For soft (porous) surfaces such as carpeted floor, rugs, and drapes… recommends cleaning followed by the use of products that are suitable for porous surfaces“
